I taught writers so unsure of their voices that all I could do was get them to speak their inner songs.
I knew I couldn’t learn how to do writing in school, because people didn’t know how to teach it.
I still wonder if learning to write in another language is like taking a leap into space.
Sometimes, I light candles to rekindle the flame. Or to burn the evidence.
Maybe the best measure of my education is the fact that I have kept on writing.
